The Australian Camps Association (ACA) is seeking to fill the vacant position of Head of People Outdoors for our People Outdoors (PO) team.

Are you a motivated and strategic thinker? We are seeking a dynamic individual to drive the expansion of our People Outdoors program interstate and oversee operations of our current programs in Victoria. This is a unique opportunity to drive the future direction of People Outdoors and work within a dedicated and passionate team.

ACA, the national peak body for camps and associated providers, believes that participating in supported outdoor experiences through camps and adventure activities leads to happier and healthier lives. Our vision is to facilitate ‘more people outdoors more often'. We provide information, resources, services and training to well over 200 members across Australia.

The ACA’s People Outdoors program provides supported camps and led outdoor experiences for people of all ages with physical and intellectual disabilities. This role is instrumental in maintaining the highest level of program quality and compliance, supporting interstate program expansion and fostering participation growth across all states. By joining this program, you will be a part of a dynamic team driving the growth and impact of this inclusive program and ensuring access to outdoor experiences for people living with disability.

The role is full time and is based at the ACA office in Preston. Some travel and out of hours work (e.g. weekends) may be required from time to time.
