About the role
The Regional Aquatic Centre in Grafton is brand new and due to open in December. The new facility includes an outdoor 50m pool, an accessible zero depth splash pad and an indoor centre with two heated pools, a 25m and combined program and leisure pool.
We are currently recruiting for lifeguards to provide frontline supervision throughout the new aquatic centre. The lifeguard position will focus on promoting safe and appropriate behaviour, ensuring a high level of supervision across the site with the ability to respond to emergency situations.
There are several positions available including full time for a three year term contract as well as casual. The successful applicant will need to be available to work Monday through to Sunday, some early mornings and some late evenings depending on the needs of the Centre. Other important information
This position is located at Council's Aquatic Centre, however, this may change should business needs identify other work locations to be more appropriate to deliver our services in the future.
A probation period applies to the 3 year term contract position.
