Level 4 - $100,625.10 (inc $20,000.00 Port Hedland allowance)

The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who has a passion for the community and demonstrated ability to develop and maintain key stakeholder relationships.
Within this role you will utilise your organisational skills as you provide operational business support and coordinate the use of sport and recreation facilities for events and programs. You will be responsible for assisting the local sporting community to develop projects and programs to improve the management, capacity and governance of sport and recreation activities within the Town. This can include facilitating club development training, education, information and workshops.
Working within the Sports and Recreation team, this full time, permanent position is based at the Wanangkura Stadium in South Hedland

Essential Experience
- Tertiary qualifications or relevant industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience in successful development and implementation of programs and events that meet community needs.
- Practical knowledge of community consultation and engagement strategies.
- Demonstrated experience in sourcing grants and sponsorship.
Work Related Requirements
The preferred applicant will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol assessment to be considered for the role, as well as possess:
- National Police Clearance
- Current Working with Children Check
- Current ‘C’ class manual drivers license
- Rights to work in Australia
