After the successful World Leisure Congress last year in the city of Sao Paulo with over 1,000 participants, the 16th World Leisure Congress will be hosted by the Beijing City Government and co-organised by World Leisure, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Tourism and the Pinggu District Government.
The Congress aims to promote the concept of leisure for all and throughout the whole year.
World Leisure has recently completed a series of events in China.
A Seminar on Leisure Sports and Social Development held at Hangzhou Normal University on the 14th October, started with a round table discussion around the potential development of a China Leisure Sports City Evaluation Index and included presentations on a diverse set of topics related to leisure and sport.
Zhejiang University then hosted the 2019 Leisure and Sports Forum at its World Leisure Center of Excellence.
These events were followed by the 4th World Leisure Expo and Forum, which took place in Hangzhou on 18th and 19th October 2019.
The Expo was a major exhibition showcasing the most innovative businesses in the industry while, parallel to the Expo, the World Leisure Forum, gathered Chinese and international experts, who presented varied leisure research works under the main theme of ‘Leisure city, better life’.
This theme will be expanded through 14 thematic areas at the Beijing - Pinggu 2020 World Leisure Congress.
