Perth theme park Adventure World is to develop a new $3 million water attraction.
Following a successful summer season, the Bibra Lake-based attraction will begin construction of a new $3 million water-based attraction for the 2011/12 summer.
A company statement explained that "the new water attraction is set to launch the 2011/12 season this September."
The new attraction will complement the existing multi-million dollar Freefall, Power Surge and The Rampage rides as well as the various water slides at the park.
General Manager Mark Shaw explained that the Park's last addition, the Kids Splash Zone, an aqua playground which includes a 600 litre tipping bucket, had been a resounding success.
Shaw explained "as Perthï¾s largest amusement park we need to ensure we are always bringing something new to the public so we are extremely excited to get started on this new water-based attraction."
