AALARA announces dates for 2025 Conference

The Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) has announced that its 2025 industry conference will be held at The Star on the Gold Coast from 12th to 15th May next year.

The Association has released a preliminary program which runs as follows:

  • 12th May 2025: National Regulators Forum, Standards Australia Update & Welcome Reception
  • 13th May 2025: Conference, Site Tours and Mid Conference Function
  • 14th May 2025: Conference and AALARA Gala & Awards Evening
  • 15th May 2025: Development Drop Ins (additional ticket required)

The conference will present the opportunity of network with industry leaders and business owners. access industry innovators and learn about best practices and marketing trends during unique and educational sessions presented by leading industry experts.

AALARA advise “more than ever, the AALARA Conference realises the importance of what and who we showcase, so we will be bringing together the most talented and dynamic industry leaders and speakers to present informative and educational sessions to help you move forward with a renewed and revitalised energy.”

AALARA25 will also deliver industry-specific Professional Panels, social evening functions each evening and behind the scenes site tours at attractions around the Gold Coast.

By the time of the conference Gold Coast’s two largest theme parks, Warner Bros. Movie World and Dreamworld will have unveiled new precincts for the first time in over a decade.

Development Drop-Ins
A new feature for 2025 will be development drop-ins, an exciting new additional segment of the conference program.

Delegates will be able to gain insider insights into how Movie World and Dreamworld leverage cutting-edge technology, state-of-the-art effects, and immersive theming to elevate their newest attractions.

AALARA add that it “is committed to engaging with delegates through an interactive Conference, a rewarding program and dynamic social events. Join us to discuss the direction of the industry along with current trends to ensure the continued prosperity of all AALARA members and associates.”
