read moreChildren across China, the Philippines and Vietnam are set to be introduced to an exciting world of fun and fitness as the Australian-owned Ready Steady Go Kids franchise hits their shores.
The unique multi-sports program for children aged between two-and-a-half to six years aims to assist in the healthy development of thousands of children who have never been exposed to such activities.
With three new master franchises opening in China, Vietnam and the Philippines, children across Asia will be able to experience the many benefits of this rewarding fitness program that will help spark enthusiasm for sport while boosting self-esteem and preparing them for school.
Ready Steady Go Kids is a physio designed multi-sport and exercise program that teaches children the fundamentals of a variety of sports in a fun and safe environment.
Since commencing in 2004, the Adelaide-based company has set up successful franchises across Singapore, the UK, India and Indonesia, proving that its winning formula is easily translatable across cultures.
As the first program of its kind in Asia, Ready Steady Go Kids’new franchisees are confident the program will be highly beneficial for local preschoolers, as more countries in the area recognise the importance of sport and exercise in childhood development.
Vietnamese master franchisee Ho Hung explains “many Asian children currently lack the kind of experience that Ready Steady Go Kids offers.
“It’s a great way to engage their curiosity and spark enthusiasm for fitness, while boosting self-esteem and preparing them for school.
“Being an experienced business owner, I am eager to run a Ready Steady Go kids franchise as my second long-term business. The strong international branding paired with the ongoing franchisee support and training really sets this program apart from others.”
As former preschool managers, Filipino master franchisees RJ Samson and JP Paglinawan also understand the importance of encouraging a healthy lifestyle from a young age, and believe Ready Steady Go Kids can help to do just that.
Paglinawan states “this program is a great way to encourage children from all backgrounds to put down their gadgets, go outside and have fun with their peers while learning essential life skills.”
The energetic classes are specially created to develop and enhance childrens’ gross and fine motor skills in a supportive environment. Each class is aimed at building key social skills such as sportsmanship and teamwork while fostering a positive attitude towards exercise.
Stuart Derbyshire, Director of Ready Steady Go Kids, is extremely pleased with how well, and how quickly, the company’s foray into the international market has progressed to date.
He explains “we’re the largest multi-sport and exercise program in Australia and have always wanted to fulfil similar roles around the globe to help children from all walks of life develop a love of sports.
“Adding these countries to our list of locations is certainly another step in the right direction.”
The further growth of this program will also provide important business opportunities for local franchisees, and will eventually open up the possibility for opening more franchises all over the world.
With over 150 locations across Australia, Ready Steady Go Kids classes are now running in Treston and Valle Verde in the Philippines, and Ho Chi Minh in Vietnam.
Class details for China are yet to be advised.
