read moreAligned Leisure has announced that Ben Tudhope has been appointed as its new Chief Executive.
Tudhope was selected following a thorough executive search process in partnership with Transearch International that included a range of excellent candidates.
His appointment has been endorsed by the Aligned Leisure and Richmond Football Club Boards and will be effective immediately.
Tudhope (pictured) first joined the facility business in August 2017, playing a key role in building the organisations trusted, community-focused and highly capable facility management brand.
Since its launch, Aligned Leisure has grown to operate across 49 locations, with Tudhope playing a pivotal role in the business’s development.
In Tudhope’s most recent position as General Manager - Partnerships, he has been instrumental in Aligned Leisure’s successful partnership growth, including the recent City of Casey addition.
The City of Casey is one of the largest council management contracts in Australia. Its seven leisure facilities attract over 3.5 million visitors annually.
Before his time at Aligned Leisure, the Master of Business Administration (RMIT University) graduate was at YMCA Victoria for over six years, including two years as Area Manager of Merri-bek City Council’s leisure facilities.
He also held the position of Leisure Services Manager for the City of Melbourne for six years and worked for RMIT for two years in centre operations. He is also a current Board Member with Aquatics and Recreation Victoria.
Advising that that Tudhope is a highly credentialed leader who would flourish in his new role, Aligned Leisure Chairperson, Tina De Young stated “Ben is highly respected within the industry and has a proven record in bringing to life the vision for the communities in which his teams operate.
“His passion for the industry and ability to deliver outcomes and service stakeholders is outstanding, and we are thrilled to have him appointed to this position.”
