Regional Pools Conference
ARV has also announced that, in conjunction with Sport and Recreation Victoria and the City of Greater Shepparton, it will present the inaugural Victorian country pools conference at the Eastbank Centre, Shepparton in May.
Introducing the conference, an ARV spokeperson explained “Victoria has 279 publicly owned pools and hundreds more pools used by the public, such as swim schools, schools, universities, hotels, motels, holiday parks and theme parks.
“While pools and the industry enjoy a profoundly successful connection with the Victorian community, our industry faces many challenges.
“The aim of the conference is to create a forum for listening to the issues, contributing to the solutions, cheering for the wins, learning about what’s going on in the bush, and the networking with peers from across the state.”
ARV’s annual Industry Conference will also be held in Melbourne from 24th to 26th August.
