Details announced for ASCTACONVENTION 2018

Details announced for ASCTACONVENTION 2018
October 30, 2017

After more than 20 years on the Gold Coast, the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association (ASCTA) is to relocate its asctaCONVENTION 2018 to Brisbane - presenting a new event format over a condensed four day period.

Explaining the move, ASCTA Chief Executive Brendon Ward stated “it's exciting to be trying something new.

“We are bringing coaches, teachers and swim school operators together for the first time (and) there will be more people in the same place at the same time.

“This will create a great buzz and increased networking opportunities (and) we are working on an enhanced exhibition to provide a marketplace of new and innovative products and services.

“Having everyone together also provides us with an opportunity to celebrate successes and achievements in one awards dinner extravaganza. Make sure you save the date and be part of something special in May 2018."

The pinnacle event in the Swim Coaching and Teaching industry will have an engaging program complemented with a world-class line up of presenters which will be announced over the coming months. The new format will still have the perennial favourites including the full suite of accreditation courses, Coaching, Teaching and Swim School streams, Awards Dinner and Welcome Function.

There will also be several other unique opportunities offered to attendees: a swim school tour to extract and share knowledge from leading School Schools, a session with a leading Coach from a podium program and an open forum with the International Keynote Presenter.

To heighten the experience for delegates the Convention App, free Wi-Fi, live streaming of key lectures and practical sessions will all make a return for asctaCONVENTION 2018.
