read moreThe Brisbane Cycling Festival has been named the overall winner at the 2022 Australian Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Awards presented in Melbourne on the opening day of the the National Sports and Physical Activity Convention.
Presented yesterday evening following the opening NSC Oration by Australian Sports Commission Chief Executive Kieran Perkins, the awards celebrated innovations in growing participation in 10 specific categories and were presented in front of an audience of 350 convention attendees.

This award for the overall prize for the Sport, Recreation and Play Innovation Award, is based on the ten category winners and judged as being the organisation or event that has activated or has the potential to activate significant numbers of people across Australia due to their work.
