Basketball Australia looks for stakeholder input to shape the future of the game

Basketball Australia has advised that it is seeking input from the basketball community to shape the strategic direction of the game, opening a survey to engage all with an interest in its future.

In a statement, the governing body advised “in our journey towards envisioning the future of basketball in Australia we want to hear from you, our basketball community.

“We are seeking your input via the an online survey on every aspect of Australian Basketball, from the game’s brand and the development of facilities to innovative game formats.

“This is a call to every member of our basketball community - players, coaches, administrators, parents, officials, referees, volunteers, and fans - to come together and contribute your invaluable insights and aspirations - that will be used to shape the strategic direction for basketball in this country.”

Participants will have the opportunity to win a signed 2023 Boomers World Cup basketball jersey.

The survey is open until 30th May with every member of the basketball community invited to take part and share their ideas.
