read moreSaudi Arabia’s Red Sea Global, the developer of the destinations of The Red Sea and Amaala, has announced that it has launched a new state-of-the-art robot to ensure that its beaches remain pristine and free from any waste.
A statement from Red Sea Global advises that the advanced electric robot has been specifically designed to enhance the visual appeal of the sand and tackle the issue of plastic waste and debris, boasting an impressive ability to identify objects as tiny as one cubic centimetre.
Red Sea Global noted that, in just one hour, it can cover an impressive area of 3,000 metre.
The robot can be controlled remotely and has been meticulously crafted to deliver comprehensive and remarkable results while protecting the environment.
With its exceptional flexibility, it effortlessly manoeuvres around furniture and other obstacles that would pose a challenge for other robots.
Commencing its operations at the Red Sea destination, the achievement exemplifies Red Sea Global’s commitment to safeguarding the beaches for visitors while promoting a harmonious balance between luxurious travel experiences and sustainable environmental practices.
The Red Sea destination welcomed its first visitors in 2023, coinciding with the inauguration of two hotels, said RSG in its statement.
Since September, the Red Sea International Airport, the primary gateway to the exotic destination, has been receiving regular flights.
By its grand inauguration in 2030, the Red Sea megaproject will host an impressive collection of 50 resorts, encompassing a total of 8,000 hotel units and over 1,000 residential units spread across 22 islands and six mainland sites.
In addition to these accommodations, the destination will feature marinas, golf courses and entertainment and recreational facilities.
