Belgravia Leisure and Life Saving Victoria (LSV) have added the delivery of Pool Safety Assessments to their existing professional working relationship.

This additional service will add to the safety services currently being delivered across Belgravia Leisure operated venues and complement the stakeholder engagement and industry development work that the two organisations undertake.

The change will see all Belgravia Leisure facilities with aquatic facilities undergo the best practise Pool Safety Assessment on a systematic two yearly basis. This will provide the LSV Assessment services team the opportunity to work in partnership with individual management teams and contribute to the provision of safe aquatic environments for staff and patrons alike.

Belgravia Leisure are a long term LSV partner in the delivery of the Swim and Survive program as well as a committed Training Licence. This agreement sees the organisation deliver these two services with the support of LSV and in line with the compliance frameworks and best practise expectations.

At a State level both organisations are also represented on the Play It Safe By The Water Campaign (PISBTW).

The campaign is a Victorian Government partnership including various stakeholder and peak body organisations aimed at increasing awareness of water safety within the community.

Belgravia Leisure is also a continual contributors to the LSV Platinum Pool Steering Committee as well as the newly formed Watch Around Water Advisory Committee.

Both of these groups are intended to drive and improve water safety within the State and demonstrate the commitment of Belgravia Leisure’s team to be a leader in the Industry and advocate for water safety.
