Club Lime, part of the VIVA Leisure group, and one of the largest privately-owned health and fitness providers in Australia, has continued its recent expansion in regional NSW with the acquisition of the Absolute Fitness club in Goulburn.

This will be VIVA Leisure’s 29th facility and the fifth located within regional NSW, with the balance of the group’s facilities located in the ACT.

Following the acquisition, VIVA will commence an immediate rebrand of the Absolute site, welcoming all existing members as part of the already extensive portfolio of Club Lime facilities.

Commenting on the acquisition, Viva Leisure Chief Executive, Harry Konstantinou stated “the Absolute business is one of the most respected and longest running health clubs and gymnasiums in the Goulburn region.

“The owner, Brooke (Wilding), has done an incredible job establishing such a premium fitness destination, and successfully growing the business, whilst helping thousands of members improve their health and wellbeing.

“With Club Lime already running one location in Goulburn, we are extremely excited by what the future will bring by merging Absolute into the Club Lime group and providing a second site in the area."

The existing Absolute Fitness club is a 700 metre² facility offering members 24-hour access to its dedicated training zones for strength, cardio and functional fitness along with a large group fitness room on the upper level. The site is strategically located within proximity to Club Lime’s current Goulburn facility, offering members greater choice and the capacity to cater for a range of interests.

Absolute owner Brooke Wilding added “we have had an amazing team who have helped us to make the club what it is today.

“(Following the acquisition) I will be taking a step back from the day to day management of the club to focus my time on Personal Training.

“Club Lime and the Absolute team are excited by both the potential and new opportunities such an established Group will bring to Goulburn”
