Deal makers come together at Money in Sport conference
November 18, 2015

Currently underway on the Gold Coast, the Money In Sport conference is uniting industry leaders, decision makers and sport business interest from across Australia  with a range of high quality presentations, exclusive insights and unrivalled networking opportunities.

Speakers so far have included Jaimie Fuller, Executive Chairman of Skins and sports ethics campaigner, who outlined those he shamed sponsors of FIFA into backing calls for reform of world football's governing body.

Fuller (pictured below), who owns compression sportswear market leaders SKINS, played a part in changing cycling’s governance and in the battle against doping.

Other speakers have included Gold Coast 2018 Commonwealth Games Chief Executive Mark Peters who outlined the vision for the 2018 Games and leading sporting administrator, Michael Brown, most recently Chief Executive of the 2015 Asian Cup Organising Committee, and now Chief Executive of the 2017 Rugby League World Cup who shared his experience of managing major events.

Max Markson, Australia's leading PR agent and the founder of the Markson Sparks agency, addressed 'How to Stand Out in a Crowd' while Australian Rugby Union Chief Executive Bill Pulver and Sydney FC Chief Executive Tony Pignata will today jointly address how vision and direction from leaders influences the success of an organisation.

Money In Sport organiser Lou Sticca, Managing Director of the Tribal Sports Group, explains “the topics of discussion at Money In Sport are consciously chosen to reflect pertinent issues and emerging trends in the business of sport, providing delegates with valuable information that can be applied to their day to day work and planning in their respective positions.

First held in Melbourne in March, this second Money In Sport event is being staged at Jupiters on the Gold Coast on 17th and 18th November.

Following the success of this event, Money In Sport looks set to return to the Gold Coast in 2016.
