The free fitness class offer is one of two new complementary services available exclusively from Decathlon’s newest store at 570 George Street Sydney aimed at encouraging Sydneysiders to get outdoors and keep active.
To enhance fitness opportunities for Sydneysiders in the CBD, Decathlon’s free fitness classes are on offer until September 30th, led by the retailer's in-house fitness experts. Featuring HIIT and Pilates classes in the park and guided run club sessions, locals can pre-book one of the free sessions online.
The timetable consists of up to three complimentary classes until the end of September. The classes take place in nearby parks and surrounding areas and every participant who attends a session will receive a free gift to boost their motivation.
Commenting on the new services, Romain Gravigny Chief Executive of Decathlon Australia shared “we’ve introduced a new picnic kit rental service and a series of fitness classes to inspire locals in Sydney’s CBD to enjoy the outdoors and stay active this spring. Whether on a lunch break or a resident seeking fresh air, we aim to make staying active easier for locals, as we recognise the significant benefits of regular movement.”
Decathlon’s new picnic kit rental service features all the essentials for a spontaneous gathering in a nearby park - all that’s left to grab is the food and drink. Each kit features two blankets, a food and drink cooler and a selection of entertaining outdoor sports games including Pétanque, Finnish Skittles, Quoits, and a soccer ball.
10 picnic bundles are available for hire per day between 10.00am - 6.00pm from Decathlon's new Town Hall store for free until 30th September. Sydneysiders must book in advance to secure a bundle and terms and conditions apply.
Decathlon’s 250 square metre store is centrally located to make sports more accessible to Sydneysiders in the CBD and is stocked with a curated range of high-quality and innovative sports gear.
At Decathlon Town Hall, locals can expect to find a diverse range of high-quality sporting goods including fitness equipment, running gear, team sports gear, swimming essentials, racquet sports, backpacks, and other sporting essentials. The store is designed to cater to the diverse sporting interests of the community, ensuring that everyone can find what they need to pursue their favourite activities.
Decathlon’s team of sports experts is on hand to help you choose the best products tailored to your needs.
Decathlon Australia has also enhanced their online offering by introducing over 40,000 new products exclusively available on their new online marketplace. This platform aims to provide Australians with the largest offer of sports and outdoor gear.
