read moreDreamworld has opened Australia’s first LEGO® Certified Store – forming part of a stand-alone precinct at the Gold Coast theme park’s front entry with access from within and external to the park.
Offering one of the largest ranges of LEGO products in Australia, the store features 10 life-size LEGO models, hard-to-find and collectors’ items, a world-famous LEGO ‘Pick a Brick’ wall, ‘Make-Your-Own Minifigure’ stations and LEGO brick engraving.
Welcoming the new retail attreaction, Dreamworld Chief Executive Craig Davidson stated “the LEGO brand is one of the most iconic and successful brands in the world and we’re delighted to welcome Australia’s first LEGO store as an exciting new development for our guests, passholders and visitors to South East Queensland.
“Our passholders and guests will have access to some of the most exclusive and hard to find LEGO products plus special LEGO events adding even more value to our current stable of great entertainment, wildlife, rides and attractions.”
Covering an area of 350 metre², the LEGO store is the largest retail outlet at Dreamworld.
The past week has also seen the reopening of Dreamworld’s Shockwave and Giant Drop rides, meaning that eight of the theme park’s major rides are now operational with Wipeout expected to reopen soon.
