Gold Coast theme park Dreamworld has reported positive feedback from guests for its summer entertainment.

Speaking to Australasian Leisure Management, Dreamworld Chief Strategy Officer, Paul Callander advised “the positive feedback we received from our guests on our Monster Trucks and Bluey Live Interactive Experience activations over the summer holidays was great to see and we look forward to welcoming back more of our interstate guests for our next holiday period.”

While impacted by border closures, the theme park has offered a full program of entertainment through its summer season buoyed by a reported 35% surge in attendance during the September school holiday. (As reported by the Gold Coast Bulletin).

In addition, while construction moves towards completion of its new Steel Taipan rollercoaster later this year, the Ardent Leisure-owned theme park unveiled a refurbishment and rebranding of the former Cyclone rollercoaster early in December.

With a 1970s theme, the Gold Coaster, which stands at 40 metres high, takes guests through a 360 degree loop at up to 85km/h.
