EVANZ opens registration for 2023 conference and invites final award entries

The Entertainment Venues Association New Zealand (EVANZ) has opened registrations for its Annual Conference in Dunedin.

Being held from Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th November 2023 at The Dunedin Centre and Forsyth Barr Stadium, the End of Year Conference and EVANZ Awards Gala Dinner featurs a three-day programme of sessions and networking opportunities.

EVANZ has also reminded New Zealand's venue industry that tomorrow (29th September) is the closing date for entries to its 2023 Awards program.

Set to be presented at a special gala event at Dunedin Town Hall on Wednesday 29th November, the Association has advise "if you're nearly there (with your entry) but can't quite meet (the) deadline - please email the General Manager and apply for a short extension".

The categories for the 2023 EVANZ Awards are:

• Ticketmaster Small Venue of the Year (under 1,000 seats)
• EVANZ Medium Venue of the Year (1,000 to 4,999 seats)
• Tompkins Wake Large Venue of the Year (over 5,000 seats)
• Momentus Technologies Rising Star of the Year
• Te Whatu Ora Health NZ Team Member of the Year
• VMA Team Leader of the Year
• Strawberry Sound Industry Supplier of the Year
