Finest examples of play and sport project construction recognised at SAPIA Industry Awards

The Sports and Play Industry Association (SAPIA) has announced the winners of its 2019 Industry Awards, presented at the Association's recent annual Conference.

A remarkable 81 entries (more than double the number from last year) were submitted by SAPIA members for the 19th edition of the annual awards competition which support the Association's goal of promoting excellence in play, recreation and sport construction, maintenance, surfacing and servicing as well as product innovation.

Winners and runners up in the Awards' multiple categories are:

SAPIA explain "this 'competition' is more correctly a celebration of the work done by SAPIA members (and) for this reason, we encourage all members to enter at least one entry each year.

"Our independent judges are experienced in our industry and able to look past the glossy photos to the work beneath - in fact they love photos of the soil, excavation and base works."
