The Facility Management Association (FMA) is hosting a series of one day Bomb Incident Management Courses in capital cities.
According to the Australian Bomb Data Centre there were 306 bombing incidents in the last year for which statistics have been released (2008), around six a week across all types of businesses.
The Bomb Incident Management Course provides the skills to respond appropriately if it happens at a facility.
The course is presented by Don Williams, a recognised leader in security and incident management, and a contributor to the International Protection of Assets Manual and the Australian Standard Handbook 328 'Mailroom Security'.
The courses are being held in

Canberra - 8th June - Cliftons, Level 2, 10 Moore Street BAP201

Perth - 24th June - Cliftons, Parmelia House & Australia Place BWP200
The FMA have agreed that VMA members can attend at the member's rate of $570 (+GST).
