Funding available for Tennis clubs to support delivery of accessible sport

Funding available for Tennis clubs to support delivery of accessible sport
March 31, 2022

To support the inclusivity of their game, Tennis clubs and community organisations can access a share of $2.4 million to build new tennis facilities for people of all ages and abilities to play tennis.

Grants of up to $50,000 are for applicants who can make a co-contribution to their project. So far, more than $610,000 has been awarded to 50 projects across NSW, helping communities deliver new tennis programs and construct high-quality facilities.

The NSW ATP Cup Tennis Legacy Fund is a partnership between the NSW Government and Tennis NSW that sees money invested over three years for grassroots organisations to deliver accessible sport.

NSW Sport Minister Stuart Ayres said the Legacy Fund ensures the growth of tennis participation, following its launch at the ATP Cup at Sydney Olympic Park in 2020, noting “I encourage tennis clubs, associations, and councils to apply for a grant and deliver a legacy from the tournament for their communities."

Applications close Monday 2nd May 2022.
