Leading fitness group Genesis Fitness has today unveiled its answer to an increasing demand for HIIT small group training, The Coaching Zone. 

The Coaching Zone has been trialled at Wantirna Genesis Fitness over the last four months and is set to roll out nationally later this year

Introducing the concept, Genesis Fitness Chief Executive Ian Jensen-Muir said The Coaching Zone brings together state-of-the-art technology, personal training experts and the motivation that comes from training in a small group to give clients the best results possible. 

Jensen-Muir stated “it’s a private training area designed to take the training experience to the next level.

“We have seen such a huge demand in our fitness centres for HIIT training in the last 12 months as people realise its benefits.”

All of the training in The Coaching Zone is monitored by highly qualified trainers who are there to guide, support and drive members to achieve results whilst educating them in Group Personal Training Sessions.

Clients can choose from five different workouts - Weight Loss, Strength Training, Functional Training, Suspension Training& HIIT - each 30 minutes long and focusing on different skills or training techniques to help clients progress and learn about training as well as achieve their goals.

The Zone is hooked up to the MYZONE heart rate system, which allows clients to track their workout and ensure they are working to the correct intensity in order to achieve results. Once the session is over clients can take the heart rate monitor home, download our MYZONE app and be able to track all of their training on one of the most accurate exercise training systems in the world.

Jensen-Muir adds “the app allows clients to keep track of their progress and helps to create a sense of community. It’s an exercise environment built on friendly competition and personal bests. It also provides tracking and accountability outside of the gym.

“Our clients have loved using The Coaching Zone and have found the wearable a helpful aid in achieving their goals.”
