read moreResidents in the Georges River Council area of Sydney have been invited to provide their input on the initial phase of the future plan of management for the Jubilee Stadium Precinct.
With all Councils required to prepare a Plan of Management (PoM) for all parks and reserves as part of the amended Crown Land Management Act 2016, the PoM sets out a framework for managing public land. PoMs are written in consultation with the community, guiding and informing the current and future use, management and improvements of public spaces.
Jubilee Stadium Precinct is made up of open spaces and facilities including Jubilee Stadium, Kogarah Park, community buildings occupied by Kogarah Community Centre and Nan Tien Buddhist Temple, the war memorial and the Legend's Walk.
With Georges River Council having commenced initial consultations on the future Plan of Management for the Jubilee Stadium Precinct on 18th December last year, input on the Your Say page is invited a until 25th January 2024.
The Council emphasises that this is only an initial feedback period with the Council formalising the engagement of a consultant who will further engage with the community and relevant groups.

To return a hard copy submission, contributors are asked to quote SF23/162 Public Submission - Jubilee Stadium Precinct Plan of Management at the beginning of their submission and return in person to Georges River Council Civic Centre or libraries.
