Recreation Sport Leisure Consultancy (RSL) has announced that New Zealand specialist sport, recreation and community planning consultancy, Global Leisure Group has joined the RSL team, marking the beginning of a new chapter in sport and recreation consultancy in Aotearoa.

RSL undertakes projects and offers strategic advice throughout New Zealand/ Aotearoa to enable community well-being. They support organisations to make informed decisions when it comes to people, facilities, places and spaces.

Richard Lindsay of RSL notes "this joining of forces is set to boost our capabilities and enhance our product offerings, reinforcing our commitment to delivering unparalleled services to our clients. GLG brings to the table huge experience in the sector, which will undoubtedly enrich our collective expertise.”

RSL also advised “we are pleased to welcome David Allan, who will assume the role of Associate Director at RSL. David boasts an impressive career spanning four decades in the leisure industry, with over 25 years in sport and recreation consultancy. His extensive portfolio includes the successful completion of over 220 planning projects in New Zealand, making him an invaluable asset to our leadership team.

“Additionally, we welcome Richard Hutchinson as Principal Consultant. Richard is recognised as a leading expert in sport business and financial modelling, facility demand and utilisation modelling. With over 25 years of experience as a planning consultant and having completed well over 750 projects, Richard's expertise will further enhance RSL's understanding of needs-based facility and business planning.”
