read moreInternational Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney), managed by ASM Global, has flagged its house records for the longest running event and highest number of ticket sales with the upcoming Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular.
With four new shows announced, the ICC Sydney team anticipates the event will attract tens of thousands of patrons across 15 Les Misérables 2025 performances scheduled from Wednesday 30th April through to Sunday 11th May.
The London production of Les Misérables, the world’s longest running musical, has entered its incredible 40th record-breaking year, still playing to sell out audiences – having been seen by over 130 million people worldwide in 54 countries and in 22 languages.
Due to unprecedented demand, Cameron Mackintosh, in association with Nick Grace Management and Live Nation Australia announced extra performances for Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular at ICC Sydney.
Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular has an extraordinary and exciting new design, specifically created for these venues, from the world class team of Matt Kinley, Paule Constable, Warren Letton and Finn Ross with sound by Mick Potter, featuring an international cast and orchestra of over 65 including many famous Les Mis stars, as well as several brilliant new ones.
ICC Sydney Chief Executive Adam Mather-Brown enthused “we are excited to welcome thousands of patrons to the venue to one of the world’s most popular musicals and congratulate Cameron Mackintosh on this outstanding production of Boublil and Schönberg’s Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular.”
Mather-Brown added that the ICC Sydney team had substantially grown its line-up of live events year on year since opening, helping to entertain Sydneysiders and visitors and drive positive economic benefits in New South Wales.
Mather-Brown noted “at ICC Sydney, we strive to be more than a venue by serving our community. It is our privilege to contribute to Sydney’s vibrancy by staging internationally and locally recognised artists and productions. Our calendar of entertainment events has grown over the years - up from 56 in our first year of operation back in 2017 to 125 last year.
New and final performances for Les Misérables The Arena Spectacular at ICC Sydney Theatre, where it has already broken house records, will take place on Saturday 10th May and Sunday 11th May.
ICC Sydney Les Misérables patrons have the opportunity to elevate their theatre experience by booking a hospitality package.
Tickets go on sale for the new dates Thursday 6th March at lesmisarenatour.com.au
