Golf Federation, a new indoor golf simulator and retail store, has opened in the centre of Queenstown.

Open seven days a week and offering four golf simulator bays for hire equipped with industry-leading TrackMan ball-tracking technology, the site provides a club-fitting service, coaching and carries a range of golf apparel from leading brands.

Golf Federation Director, Ben Guilford advised “the indoor golf scene is growing around the world and we are excited to bring this experience to Queenstown.

“Golf enthusiasts will love the real-time feedback and insights into their swing and performance, while there’s something for everyone with the 250 plus virtual golf courses on offer and a range of games to suit beginners and experienced alike.”

Suggesting that the location is one for “productive entertainment’, Guilford adds “you can relax with a few beverages and play golf among friends, and you can also come in to take a good look at your golf swing to improve for your next round on the course.

“Our aim is for Golf Federation to be a family friendly and enjoyable place for people to get involved in golf, in all weather conditions.

“We’re also running a hole in one competition and we’ve put $5,000 on the line for the first person to achieve the challenge.”

For those visiting, Guilford hopes the central location and availability of golf clubs for hire makes it easier to come along and give indoor golf a go, going on to say “we look forward to welcoming people in store.”
