The Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre (KLCC) has shared its recognition as the Best Convention and Exhibition Centre at the 33rd Annual TTG Travel Awards 2024.

Welcoming the recognition for affirms the Centre’s leadership in Malaysia and Southeast Asia’s business events industry, KLCC General Manager, John Burke stated “this award is a testament to our commitment to innovation, sustainability, and the highest industry standards.

“It reflects the dedication of our team and the trust our clients place in us. This recognition further strengthens the Centre’s position as the region’s preferred destination venue for international conferences and exhibitions, enhancing our reputation for delivering world-class services.”

Over the past year, the Centre has continued to innovate and expand its offerings to meet the evolving needs of event organisers and delegates. Highlights include spaces like the Sky Garden, Club Suites, Meeting Room 301, which provide unique, tech-enabled environments for exclusive gatherings, from corporate meetings to product launches and receptions.

The KLCC has also demonstrated its commitment to sustainability, achieving the EarthCheck Gold Certification and leading initiatives like Sustainable September, a flagship annual campaign promoting holistic health, well-being and responsible consumption.

These efforts enhance the KLCC precinct’s position as a sustainable destination, inspiring other local players to follow suit and making it the preferred venue for clients prioritising sustainable practices.

In addition, the Centre’s Healthy Venue Accreditation boosts client confidence, ensuring wellness and productivity are central to every event. The Centre continues to set new industry standards, from healthy menu options to spaces designed to promote physical and mental well-being.
