Liively, the brainchild of Melbourne-based innovator and entrepreneur Norbert Herrmann, is set to be rolled out across stadiums and arenas globally, addressing a previously unmet challenge in the events and venue industry.
Launched internationally in 2023 at a WWE event in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, where it offered both a ‘Click and Collect’ and ‘Delivery to Seat’ option to over 60,000 fans, Liively ensures patrons don’t miss the action while making purchases.
Last month, thousands of sports fans attending the NBA at the Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi were also offered the same service, allowing them to catch every moment of Lebron James in action against Australia and Serbia.
Following the success of the NBA, Liively was again utilised at UFC Fight Night at the Etihad Arena on 3rd August, where the platform was met with overwhelming positive feedback from both attendees and venue operators.
Advising that, by reducing long queues, Liively ensures patrons don’t miss the action while making purchases, Liively Chief Commercial Officer, Rory Toemoe explained “we have been able to showcase the service at some major global events, giving Liively increased exposure with patrons and potential clients.
“There is an appetite for this technology globally, particularly in stadiums and arenas hosting a high frequency of events throughout the year. They’re all looking for new and innovative ways to improve the customer experience and journey.”
Toemoe added that customers are opting to use Liively, paying a small add-on fee for the service, if it meant skipping long queues and enjoying the event uninterrupted.
Within 18 months of entering the market, Liively is already making an impact in venues across Australia, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom, with expansions planned in Italy, Spain, New Zealand and the USA in the coming months.

“Designed for high-density environments such as stadiums and arenas, Liively’s low-code platform is rapid to deploy, highly customisable, scalable, and tailored to meet the specific needs of each client.”
Since its launch, Liively has made a significant impact by partnering with leading venues and brands, including the Melia Hotel Group, Abu Dhabi’s Etihad Arena and the Jeddah Superdome and King Abdullah Sports City in Saudi Arabia.
Founded in Melbourne with offices in Dubai, Sydney, Italy, Luxembourg, and soon in the USA, Liively is backed by pre-seed funding from Antler VC and, while undertaking ongoing discussions with key investors, is ready to scale further into premier sporting events and hotel chains worldwide.
