Launched in the UK in 2015, over the last four and half years Love Recruitment have grown to the largest fitness specialist recruitment company in the country, serving over 30 UK organisations and thousands of UK fitness professionals, their success has been built upon service, delivery, relationships and trust.
Working with some of the most exciting new brands hitting the market and also established brands such as Puregym, Anytime Fitness, Snap Fitness and Orangetheory Fitness as well as organisations like UK Active and fitness equipment suppliers, Love Recruitment have placed well over 1000 professionals across the fitness and leisure industries in the UK.
Australia now represents their first international office, where Love Recruitment Director Lawrence Everest explains “we will be offering a level of service in matching employers with the right staff not previously available.”
Based in Sydney but with the capability to service clients and place people across Australia, the new services is headed up by Maddie Cummings (pictured below).
Cummings’ background is from the fitness industry, working from reception to becoming a club manager and, since moving into recruitment, she has superbly looked after the recruitment for several of the major brands in the UK.
Love primarily work across four key areas within the fitness industry; the franchise, private, public and commercial sectors. Of the excess of 1000 people placed, around 70-80% of placements fall in the middle to club management, roles like sales manager, operations manager, assistant manager, fitness manager and of course, club and regional management roles. Of the remaining 20-30%, these are made up of entry level roles like sales advisors, personal trainers and support staff through to senior leadership and director level hires.
Love Recruitment that they believe add real value to both their clients and their candidates:
Service and Delivery - striving every day to find the balance of these two factors. To ensure that not only do they deliver the candidates the clients need but are also a genuine pleasure to deal with.
Time - they save employers' time in sourcing and managing the process, enabling them to focus on key areas of operations.
Experience - after nearly five years of recruiting in the UK and bringing together recruiters who have all worked in the fitness industry, they understand the requirements and the nuances of roles in and around clubs.
Candidates - they build, engage and retain candidates long term, proactively targeting the right candidates and talent banking.
Getting the narrative and story out to market - For both the client and candidate
Communication - they will call or message when they say they will.
Working in partnership - some of the best relationships are when it’s a blended solution, working alongside the client’s other recruitment practices, giving another professional option every time.
Love Recruitment also operate a charity program called Share The Love which began in 2016 which, for every placement made, sees them sponsor a child’s education in India for a year.
