Mindbody App wins 2016 Webby Award and Webby People’s Voice Award

The Mindbody App, created by leading cloud-based business management software provider Mindbody, has won the 2016 Webby Award and Webby People's Voice Award in the Mobile App: Fitness and Recreation category.
Over 2.8 million people worldwide use the Mindbody app to find, book or pay for classes and appointments at wellness businesses in their community or on the road - from acupuncture to indoor cycling, color highlights to massage, and martial arts to yoga.
The Webby Awards recognize excellence on the internet with two annual honors -- The Webby Award and The Webby People's Voice Award - for innovation in various categories. Members of the International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) select the nominees for both awards in each category, as well as the winners of The Webby Awards.
The Webby People's Voice is awarded by the voting public.
Welcoming the award, Mindbody co-founder and Chief Executive Rick Stollmeyer stated “it's an incredible honor to be recognised by both the IADAS and the voting public for our team's innovative work on the Mindbody app

The 20th Annual Webby Awards received nearly 13,000 entries from across the USA and 65 countries worldwide. More than two million votes were cast by the public in 235 countries and territories around the world to choose the winners of the Webby People's Voice Awards.
US-based Mindbody joins an elite group of 2016 Webby winners, including Google, HBO, NASA, National Geographic, The New York Times, Spotify, TED and Tumblr.
The Mindbody App is available for free in the iTunes and Google Play stores.
