Melbourne City Sports (MCS), managed in partnership by YMCA Victoria and the City of Melbourne has rebranded recently to Active Melbourne City Sports.
Successfully conducted for more than twenty years, MCS has provided programs to Victorians, encouraging community participation in a variety of YMCA sporting activities.
The new name is synonymous with Active Melbourne City Sports' initiative of offering a range of physical and wellness activities, services, events and programs for the benefit of the community.
The new rebranding of Active Melbourne City Sports (AMCS) is in time with their popular Active Melbourne Day, held tomorrow (Sunday 6th May) at the Boathouse Drive in the Alexandra Gardens.
This free event for families will encompass sports and recreation based activities on show, including soccer, skate, scoot and BMX clinics, AFL, volleyball and golf, as well as 'speedminton', the activity that AMCS is calling 'the next dimension in racket sports'.
Professionally developed and organised, these activity programs are managed by the Victorian YMCA in partnership with the City of Melbourne.
