Phillip Island Nature Parks has commenced a partnership with Delaware North that will see the global service and hospitality company operate food and beverage operations across all Nature Parks’ venues.

Announcing the partnership, Nature Parks’ Chief Executive Catherine Basterfield advised “I am delighted to welcome Delaware North as our partner in the specialised area of food and beverage services, and look forward to the many opportunities and benefits this partnership will provide to the business, our staff and the visitor experience into the future.”

Delaware North won the contract following a comprehensive tender process.

Basterfield emphasised that the employment status of Nature Parks’ current food and beverage staff in the change had been of “paramount importance”, advising “I would like to acknowledge the significant contributions of our current staff.”

All staff have been offered employment with Delaware North with their entitlements are protected.

US-headquarted Delaware North has a long history of expertise and excellence in the provision of food and beverage services to a large number of sporting venues, resorts and tourism attractions across Australia, as well as overseas.

Basterfield added “Delaware North’s extensive operational networks will also have the added benefit of providing staff with access to greater opportunities and the potential for an improved career path within the hospitality industry.”

Delaware North began operations as of Monday 26th June.
