read moreThe World Sport Group has this week launched the sale of 61 executive suites as part of the National Stadium Club membership program at the Singapore Sports Hub the first corporate hospitality program of its kind in Singapore and Southeast Asia.
As part of this program, 62 Executives Suites including a VIP suite will be available at the new 55,000 capacity National Stadium, the centrepiece of the Singapore Sports Hub.
The World Sport Group is promising a line-up of football, cricket, rugby, athletics and concerts when the new National Stadium, the centrepiece of the SG$1.33 billion Sports Hub, officially opens its doors in April 2014.
With panoramic views, luxurious interiors, and premium amenities and services the executive suites will offer members a distinct sporting and entertainment experience.
Members will be able to enjoy in-suite catering with gourmet cuisine options, a members-only car park area, a private National Stadium VIP entrance, concierge services as well as priority access to a year-round calendar of sporting events and live entertainment.
Executive suite capacities will range from eight to 30-seaters and are priced between SG$ 72,000 and SG$272,000 annually.
World Sport Group, the exclusive commercial partner of the Singapore Sports Hub, is managing the sales and marketing of the National Stadium Club membership program.
World Sport Group Senior Vice-President, Stadiums and Arenas Adrian Staiti explains "there is an increasing demand by Singapore's corporate community for premium corporate hospitality and (these suites) will fulfill that need.
"This is a world-class membership program designed to give members the ultimate sporting and hospitality experience. The Executive Suites offers brands and companies a unique platform to engage with business associates, clients and employees through experiences which are memorable and meaningful."
Promotion of the suites is being undertaken at the National Stadium Club Experience Centre, designed and built by the award-winning marketing communications company, Kingsmen, housing a replica of a 20-seat Executive Suite and showcasing the program's offerings.
The Sports Hub is also set to be the new home for a number of National Sports Associations (NSAs) with the Singapore Sports Council (SSC) currently considering options to house the different sports at its new facilities, which include the National Stadium, a 3,000-seater multi-purpose indoor aquatic centre, the Singapore Sports Institute, a multi-purpose arena and a water sports centre.
Media in Singapore have suggested that the SSC's tentative proposal includes an open concept office for the NSAs, who could also share a secretariat, office equipment and supplies, to encourage interaction and the sharing of best practices.
At present, NSA secretariat staff provide finance, administrative, high performance, marketing and sponsorship services.
The proposal for the NSAs will also complement the Ministry of Community Development, Youth and Sports (MCYS) and the SSC's strategy - which is part of the Sports Facilities Masterplan - to transform the Kallang area into a sports city with major sporting, lifestyle and entertainment events.
The sports city concept will also incorporate a tennis academy and new centre court.
SSC Sports Development Director Bob Gambardella told Today "the SSC has allocated space in the Sports Hub for the NSAs. We have engaged the NSAs via focus group sessions to gather their thoughts on the proposed move and will continue to work closely with them to finalise relocation plans for those who are keen to move to the Sports Hub.
"We are looking at housing NSAs which have the best fit in relation to the types of training and competition facilities. We are also looking at the synergies that can be tapped by co-locating the identified NSAs."
