Adding to its existing portfolio of facilities across Australia and New Zealand, Next Gen Health and Lifestyle Clubs have announced that its newest members-only club will be opening  in the Melbourne suburb of Doncaster as of next Monday.

Located on the edge of Mirvac’s Tullamore development at the former Eastern Golf Course, Next Gen Doncaster has transformed the heritage Tullamore homestead into a space offering dedicated to holistic wellness, flexible fitness, rejuvenation and relaxation.

After successfully navigating lockdowns and COVID restrictions at their existing locations over the past year, Next Gen has specifically designed the new Doncaster facility to provide a safe experience from start to finish.

As Brett Leahy, Managing Director at Next Gen Health and Lifestyle Clubs, explains “we are delighted to be introducing the Next Gen Club concept to Melbourne after searching for the ideal location for many years.

“Next Gen Doncaster will be a flagship club for us and will deliver the premium facilities and service we are renowned for. We’ve created the ultimate health and lifestyle club that has everything you love in one incredible resort-inspired location.

Over its 11,000 metre² space, the new club offers the latest innovations including dedicated functional training zones, cutting-edge Technogym equipment, Outrace high intensity training facilities and a full schedule of studio classes along with Reformer Pilates, yoga, Les Mills speciality classes and a cinematic spin studio experience.

Outside the facility offers four competition-grade tennis courts available for member bookings, professional tennis coaching, social and competition tennis while members can also enjoy extensive aquatic facilities, with indoor and seasonal outdoor heated pools offering lap swimming, aqua fitness classes and learn-to-swim programs.

Next Gen Doncaster’s Premium Spa features a sauna, steam room, vitality spa pool, an ice bath and a monsoon shower with an adjacent outdoor relaxation garden. Indoor and outdoor sun lounges and cabanas complete the experience.

It also features a members’ lounge with a licensed bar, café and restaurant, and an extensive array of family-friendly facilities and programs, including a crèche and children’s playrooms. The club’s premium services also include the Next Gen Life mobile app and the Next Gen Life magazine.

Offering fitness and premium membership packages, Next Gen Doncaster also offers the limited Tullamore Club membership tier with exclusive access to a private lounge on the upper floor of the lovingly restored heritage homestead, which opens onto a reinstated upper deck with city views.

Members of the Tullamore Club also receive complimentary parking, dining credits, exclusive merchandise and special event invitations.

A club open day is being held on Saturday 29th May before Next Gen Doncaster officially opens on Monday 31st May.
