Nominations invited for Royal Life Saving Society - Australia board positions

Royal Life Saving Society - Australia has announced that is seeking to recruit and appoint independent Directors to its Board for the term from 2017 to 2019.
The newly appointed Directors will join the eight Directors appointed by State and Territory Member Organisations, and work together to ensure effective governance.
Royal Life Saving’s Strategic Framework 2016-2020 prioritises drowning prevention leadership; research, policy and advocacy; community awareness and action; swimming, lifesaving and water safety pathways; safe aquatic locations; organisational cohesion, growth, people and culture.
Expressions of interest are sought from experienced and/or aspiring Directors who have the skills, time and willingness to contribute to our mission.
The Board is seeking to appoint Directors who share the commitment to good governance, making a difference and valuing diversity.
Candidates will be reviewed by the Royal Life Saving Nominations Committee and recommended for appointment by the Board prior to the October 2017 AGM.
