NRL relocates round four fixtures to Sydney

Due to this week's COVID-19 lockdown in Queensland, the NRL's round four game between the Cronulla Sharks and North Queensland Cowboys - which was meant to be played on the Sunshine Coast and the Titans v Raiders fixture, which had been due to be held on the Gold Coast, will be played as a double header tomorrow at Netstrata Jubilee Stadium in Kogarah.
With stadiums in NSW able to returning to 100% capacity as of this weekend, the NRL is encouraging attendance at the hastily relocated matches with a 'two games for less than the price of one' ticket for the double-header.
With the Melbourne Storm set to host the Brisbane Broncos at AAMI Park this evening, there were fears that the Broncos would not make the game, but they are taking a Good Friday charter flight and will be under strict biosecurity rules - similar to last season - while in the Victorian capital.
The AFL's round three fixture Brisbane Lions vs Collingwood match, originally due to be held at the Gabba, was last held at Melbourne's Marvel Stadium due to Brisbane's COVID-19 lockdown.
The round 22 return fixture match originally scheduled for Marvel Stadium will now be at the Gabba.
The AFL made the change after the Queensland Government announced a three-day lockdown on Monday and with the Lions still in Victoria after their game in Geelong last weekend.
