Otium Planning Group has announced the launch of a new Facility Advisory Services directly tailored for the aquatic, recreation and sport industry.

Led by Bruce Mackay, one of Australia’s leading contemporary facility management executives, the new service allows facility owners, managers and operators to work in partnership with Otium to get the most out of their facilities.

In launching the new service, Managing Director Kate Maddock advised “we are extremely fortunate to have Bruce join our experienced consultant team and in association with our offices across Australasia be able to provide important new facility advisory services to our clients."

Maddock see that in launching this new service Otium is directly responding to a major gap in the industry, responding to frequent client requirements for complete plans for facilities that maximise returns; minimise risks; help people to be more active and healthy; and deliver great community outcomes.

The Otium Facility Advisory Services will work together in partnership with facility management teams to:

• Review what’s happened and what's happening now
• Plan to create a path for the future
• Improve current and future performance
• Support your team to deliver great outcomes.

An easy to understand scorecard system will support clients to identify how their facilities are performing against best practice. This system will also enable clients to monitor the continual improvement of their facilities usage and business performance over time as a result of the support it receives from Otium’s Facility Advisory Services.
