read morePCYC NSW to deliver free youth activities during Winter school holidays
In partnership with community and NSW Police, PCYC clubs in key regional NSW areas will be delivering free engaging youth activities and programs for young people aged five-17 years during the Winter School Holidays.
PCYC NSW has again teamed up with the NSW Office for Regional Youth, to help young people across the State take a break and have some much-needed fun. PCYC will be running Youth Nights for ages 12 - 17 years, and Sports Camps for all ages. All events are free and include BBQ dinner.
The Holiday Break series of events are designed to positively influence the health, wellbeing and social needs of children and young people, while building resilience, confidence, purpose and self-esteem.
From the 4th – 15th July 2022, PCYC will be running 32 free events for young people:
Youth Nights
PCYC will be running seven Youth Nights throughout the Winter School Holidays. Aimed at ages 12 – 17, these events will be bringing fun, safe and active programs to local young people across regional New South Wales. Dinner will be included and activities on offer include Bubble Soccer, Laser Tag, Parkour / Freestyle Gymnastics, Rock Climbing (facility specific), Table Tennis, 3 on 3 Basketball, Creative Arts, Discos and Dancing, Music Events, Gaming and Coding*, ensuring there is something to suit all interest, and plenty of opportunities for teens to try something new, while making new friends in a structured and safe environment. BBQ dinner included.

Sports Camps
In addition to the Youth Nights, PCYC will be running free Sports Camp Activations at 25 key regional locations. These events will be sports and activity based, fun safe and inclusive. Your child will have the opportunity to experience in a mix of sports, learning skills and drills, as well as participating in fun games and friendly competitions. The day is about fun, meeting new friends, and being active.

Through our unique police engagement partnership we continue to make a significant social and local difference to children, young people and their families.”
