Kuala Lumpur-based Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn. Bhd has announced the appointment of Steve Peet as its Chief Operating Officer.

Themed Attractions Resorts & Hotels Sdn. Bhd, a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Malaysian Government's investment arm, Khazanah Nasional Bhd, and Boustead Holdings Bhd, is currently developing a series of world-class leisure and tourism projects. Among these is the development of KidZania Kuala Lumpur - a child-sized replica of a city.

Peet is a former Chief Operating Officer for Village Roadshow Theme Parks and a past President of the Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA). He has stepped down from membership of the AALARA Board as a result of his relocation to Kuala Lumpur.
