Hockey New Zealand has announced that leading surfaces supplier Polytan has come on board as a major partner of the new elite domestic hockey competition, the Premier Hockey League (PHL) starting this Saturday 2nd November.

As the official turf partner of the International Hockey Federation (FIH), Polytan’s hockey turf, Poligras, has featured at leading events including eight Olympics, three World Cups and four Commonwealth Games.

Part of Sport Group - the world’s largest business dedicated to artificial sports surfaces - Polytan is committed to delivering superior performance surfaces that enhance the game.

Welcoming the partnership, Hockey New Zealand's General Manager of Commercial and Marketing, Marisa Carter stated “we are excited to welcome Polytan as a major partner. Their commitment to the game of hockey, sustainability and hockey turf innovation, makes them a perfect fit for our new league.”
