RAC Arena, managed by ASM Global, has announced Pirate Life Brewing as the naming rights partner for the venue’s level one lounge, now known as the Pirate Life Bar.

As an extension of the landmark five-year partnership announced earlier this year with Pirate Life’s parent company, Carlton & United Breweries, the brewery will take over the space as a public bar for RAC Arena’s patrons located on Level 1 between Doors 5 and 22.     

Perth-born Pirate Life founders, Michael ‘MC’ Cameron, Jack Cameron, and Jared Proudfoot established the company in 2014, and have since grown the brand into a nation-wide phenomenon with the Arena bar adding a fifth venue to their portfolio.

Craft brew favourites will be served alongside a bar menu designed in collaboration with the captain of RAC Arena’s kitchen crew, head chef Stuart Montgomery, including Hazy IPA beer battered fish and chips and South Coast Pale Ale pulled pork sliders.

Pirate Life Co-Founder Michael ‘MC’ Cameron is excited about this next phase of the partnership and enthused “we’re stoked to be set up in this iconic spot, which sits a stone’s throw from Pirate Life’s Murray Street venue in the CBD. Pirate Life’s brand-new bar at RAC Arena is the perfect place to relax and grab a pre-show drink with mates. It’s open to all patrons and offers quality food, beverages, and service - something PL are proud to deliver.”

RAC Arena’s General Manager, Michael Scott added “we’re always exploring new ways to enhance the event going experience for our guests and what better way to do that than partnering with a company that isn’t just about producing fantastic beer, but about good people and great hospitality.”

Pirate Life Bar is now open and is free to enter for all event ticket holders.
