Regular readers will also notice that we have started 2024 with an enlarged Australasian Leisure Management, with more content aimed at professionals and decision makers across all sectors of the industry.
Under our new owning entity Leisure Media Limited, we are, more than ever committed to delivery a wide range of informative, relevant and diverse industry content.
In publishing this content, we rely on those in the industry, and particularly industry associations and bodies, to share their news, achievements and case studies with us.
Here, the growing list of links we have with industry organisations is vitally important with us providing a prominent avenue for the sharing of expertise and insights with the broader industry.
Such partnerships signify a commitment to shared growth, innovation and the betterment of all involved in this dynamic industry.
Independent, unpaid for and credible
Despite many parts of the media in Australia relying on advertorial (even up to the largest media companies), content in Australasian Leisure Management is independent, unpaid for and, we believe, credible.
We have no political agenda, rather we aim to publish all that is best about the industry that is leisure - providing products and services for the out of home free time of Australasians in which they attain personal goals, improve their quality of life, enjoy themselves and are entertained.
The management of these activities, covering aquatics, attractions, entertainment, events, fitness, parks, recreation, sport, tourism and venues is a significant business with massive, but often overlooked, economic, employment and social value.
A Difference between Print and Online
And to put a misconception to rest, the printed Australasian Leisure Management magazine and the Ausleisure website are different.
The website is news driven while the magazine includes features, case studies and opinions from industry leaders and professionals along with journalists with an extensive understanding of the industry.

The bumper 84 page latest issue is crammed with essential information for professionals and business leaders in the leisure industry.
