read moreThe St Kilda Football Club has announced that RSEA Safety has extended its naming rights sponsorship of its historic home at Moorabbin Reserve until the end of 2020.
The partnership extension comes as Stage 1 of the redevelopment moves towards completion in November, which will be followed soon after by the commencement of Stage 2 of the venue’s revitalisation.
RSEA Safety Managing Director, Brandon Chizik said his organisation was excited for what the future holds at RSEA Park, commenting “we first opened our doors in Moorabbin in the year 2000, and as we grow our business nationally, we are thrilled to be extending our partnership with the St Kilda Football Club/
“To help bring St Kilda home to Moorabbin as naming rights partner of RSEA Park was enormously rewarding.
“It’s exciting to think that the region’s community football leagues will soon move into the facility when Stage 1 is completed later this year and that Stage 2 will begin and result in the return of elite football to the ground through the AFL Women’s competition.
“We are committed to the Saints for the long haul and have a strong belief in the club and its ability to achieve success in the future.
“The extension of our partnership with St Kilda acknowledges our role to play in that.”
St Kilda Chief Executive, Matt Finnis said the commitment of RSEA Safety was a reflection of the close ties the two organisations have formed in recent years.
Finnis added “we are very grateful for the ongoing support of RSEA Safety, particularly as the exciting second stage of the redevelopment of RSEA Park begins later this year,” he said.
“When finished, RSEA Park will become a $50 million facility that will underpin the strength of the St Kilda Football Club and football in the region, and RSEA Safety’s support is a crucial component of that.
"(RSEA Safety) is a great company that was born out of Moorabbin and has grown nationally.
"We love partnering with organisations that have got really ambitious goals like us and that are growing their business and their engagement with their customers. We're just thrilled that we've been able to help grow their brand, to the extent where they've got such confidence in our partnership that they're keen to extend out."
