The Scenic World experience offers a newly adapted experience, that meets all NSW Government COVIDSafe requirements. Capacity will be strictly limited at Scenic World, offering small group sessions with a set itinerary which means no queues or crowding. As tickets are now limited, and to ensure a contactless transaction, all tickets must be booked in advance online.
Tickets are on sale as of today (18th June 2020).
Scenic World offers “an action-packed adventure” for the whole family. From enjoying the vastness of the Scenic Walkway, which allows visitors to explore the Jurassic rainforest, to the thrill of riding the world’s steepest railway ride on the Scenic Railway or hopping on the Scenic Cableway, the steepest and largest aerial cable car in the Southern Hemisphere from which visitors can experience breathtaking views overlooking Katoomba Falls, the Three Sisters and Jamison Valley.
Scenic World Managing Director, Anthea Hammon notes “as a third generation family business, there is no doubt 2020 has been the toughest in our 75 year history, following both our closure to stop the spread of COVID-19 and temporary closure caused by the devastating bushfires over summer. Our team can’t wait to welcome back guests to enjoy Scenic World and to support the region’s recovery. Our enhanced cleaning, increased hygiene measures and smaller groups will deliver a COVIDSafe environment, allowing all guests peace of mind so they can focus on enjoying the great outdoors!”
Scenic World will reopen to the public on Friday, 26th June with online ticketing only and timed-ticket entry for all guests on:
