Surfing Victoria has partnered with Coffey Testing, an industry leader for construction materials testing services, that will see Surf Her Way Women and Girls Surf Sessions at URBNSURF in Melbourne.

The sessions will build upon the already successful program that has been running on the Surf Coast for the past two summers.

Coffey Testing will also become presenting partner of the Victorian Teams Titles event, one of the longest running Boardrider Club events in the country, in existence since 1976, and one of the only club events in the country with a female only division.

Surfing Victoria Chief Executive Adam Robertson enthused “we are stoked to welcome Coffey Testing on board to help us provide more opportunities for women and girls to participate in surfing.

“Between the two events, there is the opportunity for women and girl surfers of all ages and abilities to be involved, that will ultimately lead to a more inclusive surf culture and community.”

Surfing Victoria aim to foster and grow a diverse and inclusive surf culture and community with equality in and out of the water through its Surf Her Way brand and programs.

“Coffey testing is extremely proud to be partnering with Surfing Victoria” added Kerrina Christiansen, Coffey Testing General Manager – Northern NSW & VIC. “This partnership replicates our passion to not only provide females with an opportunity to grow, learn and support each other to have confidence, it allows us to give back to our local Australian sporting community."

Further details and dates for the Surf Her Way Surf Sessions presented by Coffey Testing will be released early 2024.

The Victorian Teams Titles presented by Coffey Testing will be held on the Mornington Peninsula on Saturday 16th March 2024.
