Technogym has advised that the latest edition of its Let’s Move for a Better World will be held from 14th to 31st March 2023.

The biggest social movement in the fitness industry to fight obesity and sedentary lifestyles, involvement in the annual campaign is a way for Technogym-equipped clubs and facilities to encourage members, their friends and family as well as their community to train and move more.

As Technogym President Nerio Alessandri explains, the campaign can "motivate people to embrace a more active lifestyle while helping facilities become a 'wellness hub. for your community, helping to grow the number of active people in your area."

In practice, from 14th to 31st March, visitors to Technogym equipped gyms everywhere, from fitness clubs to hotels around the world, are invited to 'donate' their exercise and promote the wellness lifestyle in their community. Using Technogym's related products, participants will be able to measure their workouts and collect their MOVEs (Technogym's movement measurement unit) on MyWellness Cloud, Technogym's digital cloud platform.

The 'points' accumulated through exercise will be used to achieve set movement targets which, for each gym, will be transformed into a Technogym product to be donated to a non-profit association working in the fight against sedentariness and obesity, particularly for children.

The more active the members of a gym, the more MOVE's will collect and the greater the donation to their community.

Created in 2014, Let's Move for a Better World is the result of Technogym's 30 year commitment to promoting wellness around the world. The campaign represents an opportunity to create a more sustainable society, based on personal health, and the education of the younger generations is a fundamental starting point for the achievement of the common goal.

It leverages Technogym's technology and related products to motivate people to move more and more regularly and to have a positive impact on society.

As Alessandri adds "wellness is a social opportunity for all: for governments (to) reduce healthcare costs, for companies that can count on more creative and productive collaborators and for all citizens who can improve their health and daily lifestyle.
