Inside Retailing has reported that Ticketek.com.au is Australia's top ranked online ticketing provider.

The Experian Hitwise Top 20 Ticketing websites for the week ending 27th February, includes websites that facilitate the sale of tickets to concerts, performances, events and cinema. Ticketek heads the list with 37.09% of visits in the category.

Ticketmaster Australia comes in second with 19.36%cent of visits by Australian online shoppers while other big players are inthemix.com.au with 10.46% and moshtix with 7.1%. Showbiz Box office rounds out the top five with 2.95% of visits.

Notable mentions on the list include Visa's preferred seating website at number eight, and the My Fun superstore at (ticketing for a stable of Australian theme parks and attractions) at number nine.

This industry includes website which facilitate the sale of tickets to concerts, performances, events and cinemas. The above data is provided by Experian Hitwise directly from their proprietary software (Hitwise Competitive Intelligence) that Internet Service Providers (ISPs) use to analyse website logs created on their network.
