Leading irrigation, turf care and grounds maintenance equipment supplier Toro Australia has announced the promotion of Laurence Bingham to the role of National Director of Sales and Marketing.

Toro Australia’s Managing Director, Richard Walne, said Bingham was the perfect candidate for the newly created position and will help drive a consistent approach across all sales and marketing functions.

Walne explained “Laurence’s passion and personable approach have made him a successful leader and influencer at Toro Australia for the past 17 years.

“As an employer, it’s rewarding to witness employees like Laurence embrace the opportunities presented to them and successfully advance their career through the company.

“He has played an integral role across the business as Consumer Equipment Business Manager, managing the Pope Garden Business and holding various managerial positions within our irrigation division.

“We are excited about what the future holds and look forward to supporting Laurence in taking our sales and marketing functions to the next level,” Richard Walne said.

In his new role, Bingham will be responsible for overseeing all sales, service and marketing functions across Australia’s Toro and Pope brands. He is also a member of the Executive Management Team in Australia.

Bingham said he was excited to take on such an integral position within Toro, and looks forward to driving the future growth of the company through both existing and new markets with their channel partners.
